No, there are no maximum number of skills that you can learn. You may learn as many skills, including Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Genjutsu as you want. The only limitation is you can only learn Ninjutsu of your elements.

What is Taijutsu?
Taijutsu is a skill that generally requires a small amount of chakra but creates huge damage. Each time you use Taijutsu, 5% of your maximum HP will be reduced. All characters can learn Taijutsu and it will not be counted as one type of Ninjutsu.

What is Genjutsu?
Genjutsu is a skill that will give negative status to weaken your opponents e.g. stun, sleep, fear etc.
All characters can learn Genjutsu and it will not be counted as one type of Ninjutsu

My friend is using a skill that I cannot learn in the Academy, why so?
The skill is probably a special skill that can only be obtained with certain criteria e.g. Invite Friend Campaign may allow you to learn a special genjutsu, Spirit Touch; Clan Tournament rewards may also give special skill.

I have already learned Fire Ninjutsu and Taijutsu, I know that we can only learn 2 types of skills, can I also learn Genjutsu / Taijutsu?
Yes, you can. The 2 types of skills refer to the types of elements of Ninjutsu only. You may learn Ninjutsu, Genjutsu and Taijutsu.

How can I get the information of a skill?
You may find the skill info in the Academy, the info includes damaga range, chakra required, number of cool down turns, special effect (if any) and training time (if any).
You may also preview the skill in the Academy.
** Some skills are for Premium Users only. Don't click "Buy" instead of "Preview"; the skills are not refundable.

What is cool down?
A skill takes turn to cool down before it can be used again. The number of cool down turns vary from elements and levels

What is training time?
Higher level skills, since they can create bigger damage or more powerful effects, it takes time to learn the skills.

I bought a skill and then an error occurred. When I played Ninja Saga again, I could not find the skill but the Gold was also gone! What can I do with this?
Ninja Saga is not responsible for losses due to connection errors. The skill was not saved is probably due to the connection error that occurred after you bought it To solve the error loading problem, you may try to:
  • Update your Browser with a new version
  • Update your Flash Player with the latest version
    http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
    • Clear your browser cache in order to refresh the latest version of Ninja Saga
    • Firefox: Tool -> Clear Recent History
    • Internet Explorer: Safety -> Delete Browsing History -> select Temporary Internet Files, Cookies & History
  • (You may want to check the help menu of your browser because different browser and version may have different menu buttons and settings.)
